We know just how hard you have planned and saved for your upcoming trip, only to potentially have it disrupted by unexpected circumstances outside of your control. For these reasons and because in some cases your rental deposits are fully non-refundable, we highly recommend that you consider purchasing one or more types of insurance to cover you for the unexpected.
Here are some examples of insurance options that we’ve found could be useful for you. Please note that we do not sell insurance ourselves. The links below will take you to third-party websites outside of our control.
Trip Cancellation Insurance
Secure your travel investment with a robust Trip Cancellation Insurance in case of death, illness or accident by you, your first-degree relatives or travel companions, which includes Covid-19. See coverage details and get a quote online at any of these insurance companies on the following links:

Damage Insurance
We offer you to reduce in half the required amount of security deposit when you purchase Damage Insurance to protect the property you will be renting from unforeseen accidents caused by you or someone in your party. It’s particularly recommended for:
- Those traveling with children, groups, or pets
- Those staying at luxury rentals
- Those staying for an extended amount of time
If you are a US resident, you may purchase the following Damage Protection insurance alone (currently US$59 for up to US$1,500 of coverage) or in combination with Travel insurance, at the following link:
https://www.vacationprotection.com/
Please read the coverage details. Among other things, this insurance does not cover against grossly negligent or willful damage, and all property theft must be substantiated by a police report.
To apply for the reduced security deposit, please email us the proof of purchase receipt that clearly indicates the dates of stay. Please note that you are required to report to us any accidental damage as soon as it occurs. We will charge you for such damage and you will have to then submit the claim directly to the insurance company.
